Welcome to Taínos Kitchen NY, where every dish is a tribute to tradition, family, and the vibrant flavors of our roots. Nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley, our restaurant is more than a place to eat. It’s a celebration of Dominican and Puerto Rican heritage, seasoned with love and served with soul. Every meal we serve is inspired by the enduring spirit of the Taíno people, our ancestors, our foundation, and the heartbeat behind everything from our recipes to our décor.
I’m a proud Puerto Rican, raised on the flavors and stories that shaped generations. My partner, Luis, a passionate young Dominican, brings his own deep love for island culture and hospitality. Though we’re not chefs ourselves, we’ve built a kitchen led by two incredibly talented culinary artists, Jenny and Rafael, who breathe life into every dish with fresh energy, creativity, and respect for tradition.
Our roast pork is the stuff of local legend, but what truly sets us apart is the way we make people feel. For us, food is a language — one that speaks of love, comfort, and community. At Taínos Kitchen, every guest is welcomed like family. With island soul, warm hospitality, and a menu rooted in home-cooked comfort, we’re not just serving food — we’re serving stories, memories, and connection.

Such a great experience went for dinner with my friends and their grandkids. Great service, very attentive, no waiting and the food was delicious and the Parcha juice and deserts out of this world. The ambiance with the Taino decor felt like I was in Puerto Rico. I'm going to hire them to cater my husband's retirement party. They have a catering menu filled with delicious food options and they deliver. Im already spreading the word because I know its hard to get good authentic Latino food in the area. Highly recommend.
Tainos Kitchen is amazing. 1. Their food is really good. Hands down excellent. 2. They truly support the community. They donated to a local community event that fed a good number of people. This is what community support is all about.
